Simple Estate Planning

Simple Estate Planning

A Revocable Living Trust is a method that attorneys use to avoid Probate or Administration of a person’s estate after death, or to handle a person’s assets if they may become incapacitated or incompetent. However, setting up a Trust and the other paperwork that goes along with it can become quite costly and complicated. A majority of the time, a Trust is not necessary for the average working family. I would be more than happy to meet with you and discuss simple ways to avoid probate and to provide for the smooth transfer of your assets to your loved ones upon your death. There are simple ways to accomplish avoiding costly court proceedings upon a person’s death and simple ways to have a relative or other person step into one’s “shoes” and handle both financial and health care decisions if one becomes mentally or physically incapacitated. Contact me to set up a Consultation to discuss the various alternatives available to avoid Probate and to allow your children or beneficiaries to avoid the complications that arise when a parent or relative becomes elderly and should die.
